Smoke is a FPS killer currently in Assetto Corsa. I have smoke on "Very low" on these videos, so that's enough and runs pretty well. Steam/steamapps/common/assettocorsa/system/cfg Then copy the tyre_smoke.ini and copy it to The smoke mod can be used without the rest, just copy smoke_0.png and replace original smoke texture file in I don't like SweetFX either, it gives a bit less FPS and usually looks just overdone, artificial sharpness effect. Kudos nonetheless for improving it to suit your taste and sharing that for those that do like these kind of edits. Indeed, the tyre smoke does look a lot more real and I may check it out when I get to adding mods but right now, the game has enough to satisfy me.
